Hotels turn to technology to track customer preferences

Hotels in North Carolina and elsewhere are looking to technology to track guest preferences and improve service. Smaller hotels, such as the Siena Hotel in Chapel Hill, N.C., can use technology to track data such as a guest's favorite food and beverages or the number of keys they request.
