Atlantic City gambling revenue was $209.4 million in October

New Jersey's Division of Gaming Enforcement on Friday released figures showing that the 12 casinos in Atlantic City took in $209.4 million in gambling revenues in October. The gaming facilities, which were ordered to close for several days due to Hurricane Sandy, reported lower revenues for the month. "I actually thought it would be worse, when you consider the magnitude of the closure. We'll have to watch November and December to see how long it takes for us to get back to normal," said Tony Rodio, Casino Association of New Jersey president and Tropicana Casino and Resort CEO.
