Wyoming has spent all of its fire-suppression funds, and the state's expenses in fighting wildfires are estimated at $42 million for this year, State Forester Bill Crapser said. The federal government is expected to cover most of the firefighting costs, which are estimated at $108.5 million overall, Crapser said. Gov. Matt Mead wants to shore up fire-suppression funds despite plans to make budget cuts.
