The architecture industry has gone through significant changes over the years, said Robert Ivy, the American Institute of Architects' CEO and executive vice president. In this interview, Ivy shares his views on cross-industry collaboration as well as the humanitarian and economic contribution of architecture to further growth. "Ultimately, we want more proof that buildings are making an impact. We want evidence. Today it is so rare," he said, adding, "We need a more sustained, critical effort over time that will give us better results."
