Study: Women say they need guidance in long-term-care planning

While 73% of women say they're aware of long-term-care options, 30% express doubt about their ability to plan for potential long-term-care needs, according to a Northwestern Mutual study. The study also found that women are less likely to have long-term-care coverage. Long-Term Care Awareness Month, which is happening now, is a great opportunity for women to work with agents and brokers to prepare for long-term care, advocates say.
