Radio should listen to the people meter

Arbitron's proposed portable people meter electronic measurement system is key to radio's future, agencies and advertisers told broadcasters at Arbitron's first meeting of its Advertiser/Agency Advisory Council. "Hanging on to the diary in the electronic age is only going to serve to be the downfall of the radio industry," said Kathy Crawford, president of local broadcast for MindShare.
