Work-related stress negatively affects women's heart health

Women with stressful jobs and who have little control over them had a 40% higher risk of heart problems, such as heart attacks and clogged arteries, than women with more control and less demanding jobs, a survey showed. Researchers also found that women who were anxious about losing their jobs were more likely to have higher blood pressure, cholesterol and weight.
