Mayo Clinic's $185M Minn. proton beam therapy center tops out

The Mayo Clinic's $185 million proton therapy treatment center in Rochester, Minn., has topped out. The Rochester center is one of two such facilities being built in the U.S. -- the other is in Arizona -- and eight others are already operational. The project created 500 construction jobs and should be operational by mid-2015, according to John Black, co-chairman of the project.
