Armenian students to learn about chess in primary school

Armenia has added lessons on chess to its primary-school curriculum and intends to incorporate the game to help develop students' character, along with skills such as organisation and responsibility. Officials in Armenia, where chess is a national pastime, say they hope the mandatory lessons will be a model for other countries.
