Missouri school district tests autonomous cleaning robot

The Springfield, Mo., school district was given free access to Aramark's Intellibot "Duobot," a $26,000 autonomous floor scrubber that can clean more than 10,000 square feet an hour. In exchange, the district's custodial team must provide feedback on the robot's effectiveness. "It's quiet and pretty user-friendly," said Rodney Owen, who oversees custodial services for the district.
