Federal grant supports training, new equipment:

An Arkansas school district has received $99,058 under the recently announced federal Farm-to-School grant program. Officials say they will use the funding to expand their existing Farm-to-School program, train employees and purchase new equipment that will improve schools' ability to handle the locally grown, unprocessed food. Officials also will use the funds for nutrition education programs for students.
