GameStop to shutter 200 unprofitable stores

GameStop, within the next 12 months, plans to close 200 of its stores around the world, saying those outlets are operating unprofitably. The company reported third-quarter sales were down 8.9% from a year ago, to $1.77 billion. Analysts estimated Q3 sales would come in at $1.79 billion, Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S reported.
