Study: Low-fat diets keep the pounds off

Initially dieters benefit from both a low-fat and low-carb diet by losing weight, but over the long haul low-fat dieters regain less weight, according to a study of 2,700 dieters, mostly women. An Atkins spokeswoman contends the low-carb dieters in the study were eating too many carbs to be successful.
