2 Chicago restaurants win top Michelin ratings

In its first guide to Chicago restaurants, Michelin awarded three stars to two of the city's fine-dining establishments. Chef Grant Achatz's experimental cuisine at Alinea and French chef Laurent Gras' menu at L20 were singled out as exceptional. "These chefs are very creative in their own special ways. They have provided consistent excellence to their customers every night," said Michelin Guides director Jean-Luc Naret.
