Heart health corresponds with lower cancer risk

Data from the cardiovascular health metrics of 13,360 people and cancer registries revealed that ideal cardiovascular health was inversely correlated with cancer incidence. Researchers reported at the American Heart Association's Scientific Sessions that the adjusted cancer incidence rate per 1,000 person years range was 10.37 for people with no ideal heart health metrics and 6.74 for people with five to seven ideal metrics.
