Don't limit social analytics, Deloitte execs urge

Social analytics tools have many uses for businesses, Deloitte's Eric Openshaw and John Hagel write. "Broadly applied across all functions, social analytics can focus attention on a company's most pressing internal performance issues," they write, suggesting that chief information officers should "dive into" data to seek patterns of interaction.
