Fat grafting, cartilage injections reshape noses

Autologous fat grafting, alone or with cartilage grafting, yielded improvements in 54 of 59 patients undergoing rhinoplasty to adjust contour and restore volume, surgeons reported at the American Society of Plastic Surgeons' annual meeting. In another study involving 621 patients, diced cartilage was injected into a prepared space in the dorsum, columella or nose tip and yielded "excellent" results.
