Study: Americans turning to candy, tobacco for satisfaction

Americans increasingly are seeking comfort from chocolate and cigarettes, according to researchers at the University of Michigan, who assemble the American Customer Satisfaction Index. Satisfaction ratings for candy makers Hershey and Mars are up even while ratings for other consumer goods have fallen.
