CEO compensation holds steady while perks take a hit

Base salaries for CEOs increased 1.6% last year, but perks dropped 18%, mostly because the top bosses didn't get as much in tax reimbursements for certain perks, according to a study by The Corporate Library. The watchdog group's list of the top 10 highest CEO earners includes Larry Ellison of Oracle, Robert Kotick of Activision Blizzard, Henry Culp of Danaher and Ray Irani of Occidental Petroleum.
