Asset managers overlook cost of integrating data into systems, survey finds

Fund managers know how much it costs to acquire index and benchmark data, but they lack understanding of the costs of integrating the data into their systems, according to a survey commissioned by RIMES Technology. Eighty-five percent of asset management firms surveyed said buying index data was the most significant transaction.
