Nielsen: American kids want iPads for the holidays

According to Nielsen, 44% of the U.S. children it surveyed in the 6-to-12 age bracket want an iPad as a holiday gift this year. The iPod touch (30%) and iPhone (27%) are the second and third choices among the children. Those Apple products are also popular among teenagers and adults for holiday purchases, Nielsen says.
