Senator asks Congress to halt LightSquared approval

Sen. Pat Roberts, R-Kan., has asked Congress to halt approval of LightSquared's proposed wireless network by the Federal Communications Commission until the company can prove the project wouldn't interfere with GPS signals. "There is too much at stake in interfering with a tool we all use, and on which our public safety and national security depend so heavily," Roberts said in a statement.
