IKEA aims high with Tampa-area sign request

IKEA is moving forward with a request for permission to erect a 125-foot pole sign at its store in Ybor City, Fla., despite neighborhood opposition. The retailer is also preparing proposals to rename part of a nearby street as "IKEA Way" and adding street signage along Interstate 4 to direct more traffic to the store.
