U.K. court rules on Smith & Nephew's appeal in patent dispute

An appeals court in the U.K. ruled that Smith & Nephew's Renasys EZ and Renasys GO system canisters and pumps violated a U.K. patent held by Kinetic Concepts for a technology used to treat severe wounds. The court, however, concluded that Smith & Nephew didn't violate KCI's 504 patent for the technology.
