Add citrus to lighten up holiday meals

Although the staples for holiday meals are typically butter, cream and gravy, try adding citrus to dishes in order to lighten up the taste and bring out the flavors. Using orange, lemon or lime in dishes will naturally balance out the meal's fat levels and create new unique flavors.
