Cable needs younger consumers to plug in, Time Warner chief says

Cord cutting is mainly being done by a small group of lower-income customers and is not disrupting business, Time Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes said at an industry event. However, so-called "cord nevers" -- younger consumers who can afford cable but have yet to opt in -- may be more of a factor, said Bewkes, who noted their lack of access to high-quality programming.
