Community group is making a difference in Wis. county

Healthier Together-St. Croix County focuses on addressing community health priorities including access to care, nutrition, obesity and substance abuse through such efforts as water fluoridation, after-school programs, a community garden model and smoking-cessation programs. The group recently received a $160,000 Transform Wisconsin Active Communities grant to increase physical activity in the community.
