Apple's iPad will continue to dominate the tablet PC market for the next five years, according to a Strategy Analytics forecast. By then, free applications will have all but vanquished paid apps, accounting for 91% of downloads, although paid apps will continue to be "an essential component of the app ecosystem," according to Strategy Analytics Director of Apps Research Josh Martin.
