Study details cost-saving benefits of broadband

Subscribing to broadband services can help cut living expenses, according to a new report from the Internet Innovation Alliance that found the average broadband subscriber in the U.S. saves $8,400 a year on a range of services. The group determined that a broadband subscription cuts entertainment expenses nearly in half and leads to significant savings on services such as nonprescription drugs, retail clothing and food.
