Study: Lack of women in critical positions hurts pay equality

Women aren't earning as much as men because they don't get the most in-demand jobs -- positions involving global travel or those that are profit-crucial and high-profile -- a Catalyst study says. Many companies are providing leadership training, especially to women, but "sponsorships" from key players are more important, the study says.
