Top product trends: "natural" labels, mix-in ingredients

Customers continue to flock toward dairy products labeled "natural," as well as to those with fewer, simpler ingredients, dairy marketing experts say. Also big are formulations that retain fat but reduce a product's calories. Another key trend: Ingredient add-ons that customers can mix in themselves, such as crunchy ingredients that can be added to yogurt.
