Eatery sells tables in advance to fund opening

Restaurateurs Scott Kester and David Lefkowitz are selling seats in The Elevens for $500 apiece to raise funds to open the planned 65-seat New York City eatery. The owners, who say they've sold about 135 seats so far, offer future patrons a chance to invest in exchange for a standing weekly reservation and 25% off every meal.
