M&S seeks to make suppliers pay toward refurbishment

Marks & Spencer is in a dispute with its supply chain over plans to make suppliers pay toward its refurbishment. M&S has requested that 1.3% of their suppliers' annual sales go toward its £600 million "strategy for growth." At least one major supplier has rejected the plan and others are expected to do so as well.
