A recent Government Accountability Office report found that the Transportation Security Administration could improve the way it distributes information about threats. Fifty-seven percent of the aviation, rail and highway stakeholders interviewed said they would welcome guidance on adopting security measures in response to threat information provided by the TSA. The report also urged the TSA to communicate with stakeholders to improve awareness of the HSIN-CS portal and to make sure they are getting threat information.
