Fellowship helps California teachers improve classroom methods

Teachers in nine California school districts are participating in a two-year fellowship program aimed at improving classroom instruction. Fellows in the Art of Teaching program choose their curriculum focus, setting goals to work toward with experienced mentors who are temporarily released from their teaching positions and paid by the program's sponsor, the Cotsen Family Foundation. It is offered at no cost to participating districts.
