Texas center sees promising cord-blood collection rate

The Providence Health Center in Waco, Texas, has collected umbilical cord blood from more than 300 women since it started the service for the Texas Cord Blood Bank in April. The cord-blood donation rate is slightly below 50%. The blood bank is planning to extend operation hours to boost cord-blood donation.
