Five female business owners spoke with budding entrepreneurs at the annual Wharton Women in Business Conference in Philadelphia. They emphasized the need to find good mentors, set goals and not to be deterred by detractors. "You have to be scrappy about it," said entrepreneur Suzanne Xie. "It is completely scary [to start a business] but the happiness you get out of that balances it out."
