Study: UK primary-school pupils behaving better than in 1970s

Researchers are crediting improved teacher training and more encouragement for students for better behaviour among primary-school pupils in the United Kingdom. Educational psychologists observed more than 140 UK classrooms and found that teachers are working to keep students interested in the lessons, leading students to be observed "on task" more frequently.
