Suspensions down sharply at some Boston career high schools

While most public-school suspensions have remained at about the same level, fewer students at Boston's vocational technical schools are being expelled of late. Educators credit the schools' push to get students more involved in their own education and say increasing student interest in the schools has also made admissions more competitive.
