Collapse of school in Haiti causes panic, fear

The mayor of Port-au-Prince, Haiti, said about 60% of the city's buildings are unsafe, including its schools -- making the statement in the wake of the collapse of one of Haiti's schools earlier this month that has created panic and unease throughout the city. The mayor said the buildings were not built by engineers or with regard to building standards, and the ground they sit on has been weakened by recent hurricanes.
