Online messaging system allows docs to securely access patient data

A secure Web-based phone messaging system and network for doctors known as PriorUs is being developed by Electronic Medical Solutions and piloted by nearly 50 primary care doctors and hospitalists in Kansas. The system, which is HIPAA-compliant, can track the data being viewed by users, as doctors are required to enter their PIN to access the network.
