Durbin: Medicare changes should wait until "fiscal cliff" is resolved

Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., says his party must be receptive to significant changes to Medicare and Medicaid programs, although not until the looming "fiscal cliff" is addressed. He suggested saving money by streamlining benefits for those who qualify for both programs, but expressed doubts about proposals to raise the eligibility age for Medicare or to ask seniors to shop around for coverage.
