Skin products among those recalled by compounding center

The New England Compounding Center, a compounding pharmacy at the heart of a nationwide meningitis outbreak, recalled all products, including many common skin treatments. Solutions containing benzocaine, lidocaine, tetracaine, glycolic acid and salicylic acid were among those recalled. The American Society for Dermatologic Surgery urged regulators to step up enforcement of compounding pharmacies.
