University expands Chinese exchange program

After about 20 years of working with the Beijing University of Technology, the University of Maine at Farmington is opening its Chinese exchange program to more schools. The updated program, which includes plans to open a Chinese language and cultural center, is also expanding its scope to include students in various majors. The school already has agreed to host English and literature students and faculty from Fudan University in Shanghai, and students from Guangxi Medical University in Nanning City.
