Dooley lauds benefits of Capitol Hill's waste-to-energy initiative

The waste-to-energy program started at the U.S. Capitol will reduce waste and greenhouse-gas emissions and help power congressional offices in a cost-efficient manner, writes American Chemistry Council President and CEO Cal Dooley. Waste-to-energy technology has been underutilized in the U.S. despite its energy and recycling benefits, Dooley argues. "As a nation, we need to do everything feasible to regain control of our energy future, to grow jobs and to reduce our debt. Moving determinedly toward waste-to-energy can help," he writes.
