Mich. health department wins award for cancer screenings

The Health Department of Northwest Michigan won a Challenge Award from the Michigan Cancer Consortium for its efforts to increase access to and participation in employee cancer screening programs. Consortium policy consultant Anna Notier says Challenge organizations that do the best job increasing employee cancer screenings will be used as models to encourage others to adopt similar policies.
