M&S turns cashmere sweaters into coats

Marks & Spencer has embarked on a program aimed at meeting the growing demand for cashmere while aiding environmental efforts. The retailer has turned damaged cashmere sweaters that were returned to its stores into 500 coats that will go on sale at five of its stores and online for £149 next month; M&S is working with Oxfam to expand the program using donated sweaters that aren't fit for resale.
