Dietitian recommends holiday drinks with fewer calories

The holidays make it easy to forget that alcoholic beverages can contain a lot of calories, so registered dietitian Laura Cipullo recommends using seltzer as a lower-calorie option for drink mixes and choosing sparkling or white wines for fewer carbohydrates. Infusing Champagne with berries or flavors makes a festive drink, but Cipullo suggests infusing berries with Champagne instead for a healthy twist.
