IBM boosts Big Data capability with new facility in Ohio

IBM is enlarging its Big Data footprint by opening the IBM Client Center for Advanced Analytics in Columbus, Ohio, and partnering with some 200 universities on curriculum to staff such centers in the future. IBM says it has invested $17 billion in Big Data so far, by organic investment and through purchasing companies such as Unica, Coremetrics, Tealeaf and Kenexa.
