Young children with autism benefit from behavioral therapy

Autistic children as young as 18 months may see improved symptoms from behavioral therapy, researchers reported in the online edition of Pediatrics. The study found after two years, children who had therapy had higher IQ scores and better language skills, and almost 30% were rediagnosed with a less severe form of autism.
